How It Works
Submit Your Photo
After choosing your Memory Collection ring, you'll be prompted to upload your photo during checkout. For the best results, use a high-resolution image with clear faces and good lighting. You can upload any image file.
Each ring has an oval setting, so the corners of your image will be cropped. Leave a little space around your subject so nothing important gets cut.
For the Celestial ring (vertical oval), rotate your photo 90 degrees in the upload tool so it lines up with the oval, like the example below. Either direction works. It may appear sideways in the preview, but it will sit upright on your finished ring.
For all our other rings (horizontal oval), upload your photo as it is, no rotating needed.
The photo on your ring is small, so zoom in and crop tightly (more than you think) around your subject before uploading. Older or lower-resolution photos work beautifully, just make sure there's enough contrast so the details still read clearly at a small scale. Please find upload examples below.
Once your photo is set and sealed into the ring, it can't be changed, so please double-check your image before placing your order. If you need to resubmit, email us at contact@tinkiu.com within 24 hours of ordering.
Memory Collection pieces ship within 6 to 8 weeks, since each photo is set and sealed by hand. Tracking sent as soon as it's on its way.

We're a young brand, so our sizing is still growing with us. We currently offer six sizes in standard US ring sizing. If you're unsure of your size, we recommend visiting a local jeweler or trying a ring sizer at home before ordering. We want to make sure the piece fits as perfectly as the memory it holds.

Product Care
Your Tinkiu piece is built to last, but a little care goes a long way.
Gold Vermeil
Our gold vermeil is 14k gold over solid 925 sterling silver. It's durable, but the gold layer will naturally wear over time. This is expected and not considered a defect. To keep it looking its best, remove your ring before showering, swimming, or exercising. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals. When not wearing it, store it in a dry place, ideally in the jewelry box provided. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
925 Sterling Silver
Our rings are crafted from solid 925 sterling silver. Sterling silver will naturally develop a patina over time due to oxidation. This is normal. To slow the process, remove your ring before exposure to water, sweat, or chemicals. Store in a dry, airtight place when not in use. If tarnishing occurs, gently polish with a silver cleaning cloth to restore its shine.
Jade
Each jade stone is carefully selected and set by hand. While durable, it should be handled gently to prevent fracture or breakage, especially when putting on, removing, or storing your ring. Avoid impact with hard surfaces, exposure to harsh chemicals, chlorine, or extreme heat. Clean with lukewarm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft cloth. Store separately from other jewelry to prevent scratching.
Diamonds
Diamonds are hard but not indestructible. Avoid sharp impacts that could chip the stone. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush. Store separately to prevent scratching other pieces.
Memory Collection (Photo Rings)
The photo in your ring is sealed and protected, but we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight to preserve the image over time. Treat it with the same care as the metal it's set in.
General Tips
Put your jewelry on last, after applying any lotions, perfumes, or cosmetics. Remove it first at the end of the day. Store each piece in its jewelry box when not in use. A little attention goes a long way in keeping your Tinkiu piece looking beautiful for years to come. Store-bought cleaners and home remedies like baking soda, toothpaste, or vinegar are not recommended, especially on gold vermeil and jade
